To create a Simplified Disaster Recovery (SDR) disk on Symantec Backup Exec 15 click to Create Disaster Recovery Disk(you can also start this process from clicking Backup Exec button, click Configuration and Settings, and then click Create Disaster Recovery Disk):
Review the Welcome panel of the Simplified Disaster Recovery Disk Creation wizard, and then click Next:
Select one of the following, If you To create a Simplified Disaster Recovery disk image for the first time then select first option and click next:
check the checkbox and Click next:
Specify location to install Windows ADK:
Select the features you want to install and click Install:
After installation complete click Close:
Then select platform, timezone and languages , click next:
Select the computers for which you want to add the drivers to the recovery disk, and then click Next(in our case this is no computers):
if you have network or storage driver click Add driver button to add those and Click next:
Type the volume label and the path for the image (.iso) file to specify the location to store the startup image, and then click Next:
Review the summary panel, and then click Create Image:
After the Simplified Disaster Recovery disk image is created, click Next, and then click Finish.
