Sometimes we need to use distribution group only inside organization or we need to prevent external user to send email to distribution group. So do this open properties of distribution group and “Mail Flow Settings” tab double click “Message Delivery Restrictions” option
and opened windows check the “Require that all senders are authenticated” option and click OK twice:
