Remove DHCP server role on Windows Server 2012 R2

Last articles we talked about how to install, configure and backup DHCP server.

Today we will look at how to Remove DHCP server role on Windows Server 2012 R2. If you do not use or migrated you DHCP server to another one you can remove your DHCP server role from the server.

To remove that follow steps below:

Open server manager and click Manage -> Remove Roles and Features:

Click Next:

Select your DHCP server from server pool:

Uncheck DHCP server  role and  Click Remove Features to remove features related on dhcp and click  Next:

Click Remove to start process:

Click Close:

And Finally restart the server to complete process:
