Sometimes we need to Clear Windows Update Cache ( cannot find available updates,stuck “searching for updates” and etc.) To do that follow steps below:
1.Stop Windows Update (wuauserv) service
Press Win+R. Type services.msc and hit Enter. Find Windows Update (wuauserv) and double click it. Click Stop.
2.Delete Update cache
Go to the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder and Press CTRL+A. Press Delete to remove all files and folders. Press Continue.
3.Start Windows Update (wuauserv) service
