Installing Horizon View Composer on Horizon View 7

 VMware Horizon View 7:

Composer Server – a software service that is installed on a vCenter server to allow VMware View to rapidly deploy multiple linked-clone desktops from a single centralized base image.

In this article we will look at how to install Horizon View Composer server:

Double Click software  to start the installation:

Wait for a second for Computing space requirements:

A .NET Framework is a software requirements for this service. If you get this screen, it means that you need to install .NET Framework, So click Yes:

And click Run to start to install .NET Framework:

Accept the license agreement and click install:

Click Finish to complete installation .NET Framework, Then click next to start Composer server installation:

Accept installation license agreements and click next:

Click next to install to this folder, or click Change to install to a different folder:

On the Database Information page Enter the DSN for the Composer database, Click Next.

Specify the web access port and security setting for VMware Horizon 7 composer, Click next:

Click Install to start the installation of Composer server:

Click Finish to Compete for installation:

Click Yes to restart the server:

After Restart you can see VMware Horizon 7 Composer on the services application:
