First download Samsung Kies application from THIS LINK on your computer and then install software to your computer . Then connect you Samsung android device to your computer and Run the Samsung Kies application on your desktop. After that backup your device with “Backup and Restore” tab from Samsung Kies application. After backup completed you can start your Firmware update process from Samsung Kies. Click “Firmware Upgrade button” to start update process. you can also do that process with Tools > Firmware Upgrade menu. After update prosess dont disconnect you device from computer. When update completed your device will rebooted and that is all – Firmware update is complete.
You can check your firmware version from Settings > About Device > Android & Baseband version.
